In anxiety-focused counseling, you will experience a caring and compassionate approach to reducing anxiety while you learn to have a strong, healthy sense of self. Most of these patterns of coping started in childhood or began after a traumatic or stressful experience where you didn’t have the support you needed. In therapy, you will learn to understand the roots of your unhelpful patterns of coping and thinking and replace them with healthy coping strategies. Using holistic methods, I’ll help you connect your mind and body to soothe yourself in times of distress and learn to feel safe to feel a full range of emotions.

I work from an attachment lens and will help you understand your attachment style and how to heal. I incorporate brain science through interpersonal neurobiology, CBT, Somatic work, Mindfulness, EMDR, and AEDP therapies to ensure that whatever you’re facing in your anxiety, we can have the best tools to help you overcome it.
